Premium Quality

Our chef and his team of 11 cooks place great value on a fresh and careful low-fat prepa-
ration of all dishes and never use glutamate, preservatives or colouring additives. They only buy fresh, high-quality ingredients from selected suppliers of the local region, including organic produce.

Low-fat and low-calorie

Thanks to modern food preparation technology we can cook our dishes using significantly less fat than in conventional Franconian cuisine. Even our potato fritters (Baggers) are made from freshly grated Franconian potatoes and are crisply fried in minimum fat so that they are relatively low in calories. All fats used are vegetable fats and free of cholesterol.



Everything is freshly prepared and we have a new menu card each week. For this reason we ask for your understanding should a dish on the menue unexpectedly run out.

The small portions, we call them “Generous Franconian Tapas”, allow our guests to enjoy a variety of Franconian specialities or to assemble an individual menu with 4 or 5 courses.

Our menu offers on the one hand typical Franconian dishes such as the slaughterhouse platter, the traditional Franconian Sunday roasts and a variety of sausages. On the other hand you can find novel compositions.
 



At the moment the most popular creations are the „Fränkische Kanneloni“ (covered pancakes stuffed with mincemeat and kraut) or the
„`s Baggers®-Weldkuldurerbe“ (world cultural heritage) – an organic rump steak preserved with mustard and horseradish and scolloped with Gorgonzola.

In `s Baggers® you can celebrate a generous meal with your family and friends. But you can also pop in just for a small portion with a drink as a snack.




All our dishes are subject to the high quality demands of our chef. This will start with the purchase of premium produce and will be accomplished by preparing the meals carefully and presenting them appetisingly.

Drinks

On the list of beverages we offer almost exclusively regional products and several organic drinks.

Thus, our guest can choose between organically brewed lemonades of the brand Bionade, organically brewed beers of Neumarkter Lammsbräu, and wines and organic wines of the region.
